IND vs ENG: “Test Cricket at Its Best” - Reactions Pour In After Edge-of-the-Seat Finish at Lord's

England fought their way to a thrilling 22-run win over India in the third Test at Lord's and took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Chasing 193 for victory, India began the day at 58/4 and banked on their experienced duo of KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant. However, England captain Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer struck early blows that left India rattled.

Within the first hour of play, the visitors had lost three wickets for just 24 runs and slumped to 82/7. At that point, the result seemed like a formality for the hosts.

But Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy showed grit. The pair battled hard, frustrating England until Chris Woakes broke through by drawing an edge from Reddy just before lunch. Jadeja then took matters into his own hands and formed crucial partnerships with Jasprit Bumrah and later Mohammed Siraj. The fightback took India to within touching distance of a win but Siraj’s dismissal to an injured Shoaib Bashir ended the match with India stranded on 170.
