The left-arm spinner Sai Kishore, who recently won the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2025 with IDream Tirupur Tamizhans defeating Dindigul Dragons in the final, has signed with Surrey for the next two County Championship matches.
Playing for Gujarat Titans in the IPL and leading the Tamil Nadu team in domestic competitions, Sai Kishore will make his County Championship debut with Surrey. He now follows the likes of Sai Sudharsan from Tamil Nadu who also plays for Surrey.

Sai Kishore Set to Represent Surrey in Two County Championship Matches
The Gujarat Titans spinner will represent Surrey in the next two County matches before the start of the new Ranji season. An official statement was released by Surrey on their website:
“The six-foot-three bowler will be available for Surrey’s next two County Championship matches in which the Kookaburra ball will be used. These are the trips to Scarborough to play Yorkshire (22–25 July) and to Chester-le-Street to take on Durham (29 July–1 August).”
Alec Stewart, High Performance Advisor of Surrey, expressed his happiness at having Sai Kishore in the squad, expecting him to deliver and believing his leadership mentality and experience will inspire the team.
“I’m delighted to bring Sai Kishore, a highly rated player, into our squad for the next two Kookaburra games. All the reports I have received from people I respect in the Indian game have spoken highly of him. His four-day record for Tamil Nadu is very good, and he brings leadership experience to the group.”

Sai Kishore Excited to Join Prestigious Surrey Club for County Championship
Sai Kishore, on signing with Surrey, said he is excited and proud to represent one of the most prestigious clubs in the country.
“I’m really excited to be joining Surrey for the next two County Championship matches. Surrey is one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, and I have heard great things about the set-up from lots of different people in the game,” he said.
Sai Kishore is enjoying the best period of his career, leading Tirupur Tamizhans to their maiden TNPL 2025 trophy by defeating the defending champions Ravi Ashwin’s Dindigul Dragons, and now representing one of the biggest clubs in England. He joins a list of notable Indian players, including Tilak Varma, Ishan Kishan, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Ruturaj Gaikwad, who are playing for various clubs this season.
